Adding photos to text post

I click the add media icon and nothing happens. I’m using an iPad.

What browser and version are you using? Try the Cookie Dance, it sometimes helps http://raincoastermedia.com/2012/05/01/the-cookie-dance/

For a few days Ive not been able to add phots also. Nothing Im doing seems to fix it. Sounds like Im not the only one. HELP

Same problem,
I can post pictures using the ios app but then there are few options for positioning the pictures.
Using either safari or chrome i can see the add media button but the pop up does not work, it will only appear if I open in a new tab but then insert pictures does not work.
I checked and popups are allowed for both safari and chrome in the options.

I followed raincoaster’s advice and at least got to hear of cookies and browsers, though I didn’t really know how to do anything with them. somehow I then got on to a wordpress support document about browsers and it said that WordPress.com prefers Firefox or Chrome as browsers. I had been using Explorer.
It all looked v complicated but I did reinstall Firefox as the browser for accessing wordpress and hey ho I can now use the media button again. I also logged out, switched off etc etc. Haven’t tried it since, but it does seem that using Firefox rather than Explorer made a difference. Fingers crossed it will work again. Otherwise I shall be back here.
