  I can find no way to add pictures to my blog, and Google is no help.

  Hi there,

  Looks like you are reviving your blog, yes? Good to have you back! I see that your latest post does have several images in it, so it seems you are able to add those without issue. Is it possible that you are trying to set the “Featured Image” for the post, the one that appears large and before the title?

  If so you can set that by following the steps here: https://wordpress.com/support/featured-images/
