Adding pictures to websites

  Hello. I’ve just started using WordPress but have had a blog at Blogspot for awhile. When I add pictures to a post in Blogger, they appear smallish but will pop up an enlarged version when a viewer clicks on the picture. In WordPress, my pictures don’t do that. Am I doing something wrong when I insert them?
