adding portfolio status

  i am trying to add the porfolio option.
  my site – writing- catagory – portfolio

  but when i get to the writing heading the only option is ‘default catagory’
  any suggestions?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  The correct path is not my “site – writing- catagory – portfolio.” It is My Site(s) > Settings > Writing > Content Types. Under the Content Types section, you’ll find Portfolio Projects setting.

  thanku for the feedback.
  i tried to follow the course you set.
  “My Site(s) > Settings > Writing > Content Types. Under the Content Types”
  but i find only the following headings under writing: Default Category and Default Format and Related Posts there is no option for ‘content types’.
  ideas?

  Are you referring to the page https://wordpress.com/settings/writing/brokenstapledwings.wordpress.com? If so, have you tried scrolling down that page?

  If you still don’t see the Content Types section on that page, then are you an administrator on the site? If not, then what is your user role? You may not have full access to that page.

  The steps:
  1. My Site — Click on the “My Site” or “My Sites” button. If you have more than one site in the account, then it will be My Sites. That will take you to the page https://wordpress.com/stats/day/brokenstapledwings.wordpress.com.

  2. Settings — Scroll down the page until you find the Settings icon in the admin menu at the left. Click on Settings to go to the page https://wordpress.com/settings/general/brokenstapledwings.wordpress.com.

  3. Writing — At the Settings page, click on the Writing link in the menu. This will take you to the page https://wordpress.com/settings/writing/brokenstapledwings.wordpress.com.

  4. Content Types — On the Writing page, scroll down to the Content Types section.
