Adding Post Title to body of Post

  From time to time I want to be able to reference the current posts title from within the post, is there a simple tag I can add that will auto generate the title of the post into the body? I tried ‘<?php the_title(); ?>’ but doesn’t seem to do the trick.

  do < h1 > or change the 1 to whatever number.

  There is no automatic way to insert a post link into another post, and the code you list will be stripped out or ignored by WordPress as php isn’t allowed in posts.

  You could just publish the post, grab the URL, and then put the link in. The link will always go to the top of the page, where the title is.
