Adding posts on new pages
-
Hi
Wondering when I add new pages aside from the default “Home”, can I make it so that it adds in new postings like in the “Home” page. So far, it seems like I can only edit one posting and end it at there instead of being able to add multiple postings.thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

One of the reasons for choosing a static home page is to avert adding posts to the front page as will occur by default on WordPress.com blogs. So, it sounds like you’ve got a static front page, but want posts to be added below that. That’s defeating the purpose of the static page.
What you could do is use the standard reverse chronological presentation of posts, but make one of them — your designated Home Page — a sticky post. See the Posts Visibility support page.

Thanks guys.
Raincoaster – I tried to read through that page and still can’t seem to find an answer. Maybe I should clarify.
I want to have different Post Pages as I want to blog on different topics (multiple pages where I can post under) – is that possible?
Thanks so much.

Here’s my more detailed explanation.
Start out by making sure you comprehend all the differences between Pages and Posts. http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/
You have two choices.
(1) All posts on the front page.
(2) A static front page and posts on a different page.By default the front page of your blog displays all published posts (not pages) in reverse chronological order, with the most recently published post on top. That is for the convenience of your returning visitors.
However, if you do not want all the posts to show on the front page, then you can create a static front page called for example “Welcome” for your site and a “Blog” page for posts.
To do that create two pages first http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/
After you do that you go to > Settings > Reading and make the designation change and click “save changes”.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/A static page (select below)
Front page:
Posts page:Custom menu – Blog posts on dynamic category pages
Technically you can’t post to more than one page on any blog but do read on. Static Pages and dynamic Category Pages are not the same. The former cannot automatically update but the latter do.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/category-pages/If you want to have pages that do update then they must be replaced by dynamic category pages (and sub-category pages) that will automatically update every time you publish a post assigned to the relevant category and/or sub-category.
By default the front page of the blog is the post that displays all posts in your blog. Though there is only one dynamic page in a blog for posts (not pages) http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/ and we cannot post to more than that one page, we can create the appearance that we have posted to more than one page.
We organize posts by assigning categories to them. You can create a custom menu and add the dynamic categories and sub-categories pages into the custom menu, and order them as you wish.
