  how do i get my blog posts to preview on the home page as well as be in a category page?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  how do i get my blog posts to preview on the home page

  You can set your homepage settings to “latest posts”. To do so,
  Go to My Sites > Customize > Homepage Settings > Select “Your latest posts” radio button.

  as well as be in a category page

  You can add categories to your menu and the blog post within that specific category will be displayed.
