Adding posts to pages other than the home page
-
I have a website with WordPress with the current url of sethhkessler.com. My website currently has three (3) pages: Home, About, and Today Is A Great Day To Have A Great Day.
What I desire is to do is to be able to post on the third page, Today Is A Great Day To Have A Great Day (or Page3 for short from this point on), in the same way that I do on the Home page, without the Home page showing what I post on Page3. For example:
When I want to create a new post, I click the ‘new post’ button and then select what type of post I want (text, image, etc.). Then I create my post and hit publish. Once published, if I go to my website, on my front page, the ‘Home’ page, I see my post. Great, fantastic, no problems.
I want to be able to do the same thing, but only on Page3. So that after I make my post on Page3, it appears on Page3 and Page3 only. Currently it would appear that (i) I cannot add posts to Page 3 (I seem to be able to add what I want to Page3 initially, but I cannot add additional posts to Page3 like I can with the Home page) and (ii) when I attempt to do so (by being on Page3 when I click ‘New Post,’ my published post appears on the Home Page.
Is there a way to do what I want on the Theme I currently have (Addelle) or would I need to change it?

Hi there,
Really what you will need to do is to change slightly the way you are going about your organizational structure.
We have a function in our link menu wherein you can display all posts from a certain category. If you categorize all posts that you want to display on the home page as “Home” and all posts that you want to display on Page 3 as “Today is a Great Day to Have a Great Day,” and then create links to those categories in your menu bar, when people click on those links, they will only see posts from those two categories.
You can read more about how to do this right here:
Let me know if you need any help with this!
