Adding Recent Posts To Web Pages

    I want to add the 5 most recent posts from my wordpress blog to my MySpace page, is there a line of code that I can use to do this?

    There is no automatic way of doing this “with a line of code”. Can you set up a rss feed on your myspace blog? If not then you can copy and paste these posts over but do be mindful that both Google and Technorati take a dim view of duplicated content.

    Well, you could copy the HTML of your Recent Posts widget of course, but that’ll only give you the ones of this moment. If you want something that updates whenever you write a new post, look into RSS. How to put your feed on a MySpace page you’d best ask over there.

    Actually somebody designing a new website for his business used my RSS feed to test how well that worked, and it worked perfectly. So well, in fact, that I found him, thought he was a blog scraper, and emailed him, even though it was only up for an hour and the site wasn’t supposed to be live yet.

    It shouldn’t be too hard. But the Facebook WordPress thing is easier.
