Adding RSS feed and Delicious to my homepage?
-
I want to add RSS feed and Delicious to my homepage, but when I add them to the backend (through appearances, then widgets) and save changes, it still doesnt’s show up on the homepage. How can I fix this?

I am having a similar problem. Also, when I add the widget (which I assume adds a link to the RSS feed page for my own blog) it gets rid of all the other navigation in the RHC – blog roll, search etc… And the feed doesn’t work. Do I have to create a feed elsewhere if it isn’t hard coded into the navigation? Blog is at http://fromzinder.wordpress.com/ …
Cheers

What, specifically, are you using for your feed link? Usually if the feed doesn’t work it’s because it’s been copied incorrectly.
And yes, if you add one widget to your sidebar when you’ve never before made any changes, it wipes the existing widgets. That’s true no matter which widget you add. Just add the others back in. It only happens once.

Hi… I went to widgets and put rss and delicious on to my side bar, but when i go to my blog page, they’re not there? any ideas?

The site linked to your name is not a WordPress.com blog, and I’m afraid we won’t be able to help with that.

ok, I am lost as a goose. I would like to send people daily and weekly updates from my blog. This is possible right and isn’t it called a feed? So how do I get the feed going and tell it who to send it to?
Thanks, sorry I’m so clueless :)

You guys that are lost? You’re not alone. All I want to do is add the RSS/feed icon to my blog’s home page, so that my friends and family can subscribe to my blog. How in the world do you do this? And why in the world is it so hard?

I am having the same problem. I have typed it in as described on FAQ but it does not show up. I have tried refreshing, and everything under the sun. I am quite frustrated. Help please!

Same, I attempted following the FAQ article posted above, but it appears to wipe the code I type word for word from the URL. When I go check back on the text widget, this is all that is saved “<img />” –
What I originally wrote in the text widget is “<img src=http://faq.files.wordpress.com/2006/11/a14.png”/>”

Blog URL is http://haichiizu.wordpress.com for those who want to take a look and apologies, looks like the forum ate my html :)

I am trying to add two unique RSS feeds to my blog, yet all I can seem to do with the RSS widget is one feed. Is there not a work-around or a secondary widget that can works as an RSS reader of multiple feeds?
Thanks

It is one feed per widget, but you’re not limited to one RSS widget. Just add another.
