can I add a separate blog to my menu for daily photos and write ups from the road? my home page is my main project blog, but I would like a separate one in the menu for more a travel diary. I have the personal plan. thanks.

Thank you. What I meant was I would like a second blog within the same website. Like a diary to accompany the blog. Something I could tuck away within the menu of my site as a ‘tour diary’

My apologies, for not getting your query for the first time. Yes, you can do so by first, creating a separate category according to your requirements under My Sites section –> Settings –> Writing –> Categories.
Then, you need to add the newly created category in the Menubar of your Website from the Theme Customizer –>Menus –> Add Items, then add the category. Save and Publish for the changes to take effect.
Whenever you write a blog regarding based on your travel diary, make sure to select its relevant category when you are in the visual editor page. It can be done by clicking the Categories & Tags section under post settings located on the right-hand side of the Visual Editor Page.
