Adding shopping cart to wordpress.com

  Hi! Is it possible to add a shopping cart to a wordpress.com site, or do i have to do it thru wordpress.org. I tried the latter but have no idea how to go about installing it even. Is there anyway simpler way to add a simple basic shopping cart to a wordpress blog?

  E-commerce isn’t possible here at WordPress.com.

  If you require e-commerce/shopping cart functionality, you might be interested in a self-hosted (WordPress.org) installation. There are no restrictions on e-commerce if you set up a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities.

  If you only want to sell a few products, you can also add a link to paypal to your content. I’ve done it, works very well :)

  You are only allowed to sell items that you PERSONALLY make – not items made by others
