Adding Sidebar?

  Hi!
  I just decided to use a new theme for my blog and was wondering if it is possible to enable/add a sidebar to it?
  It is currently set to The Visual Theme.
  Thanks!

  The theme is not designed to have a sidebar on the front page as it’s a grid based theme.

  Widgets
  You can configure a sidebar on single posts and pages by going to Appearance → Widgets. http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/visual/
