adding social links custom menu to motif

  I have the motif theme and want to add my social links as a custom menu to the front sidebar. I created a custom menu, but it’s still not working.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I’m currently seeing your social links at the bottom of your main page here:

  I took a look at your recent live chat transcript with Alecia. It sounds like you are trying to get the social links in the sidebar as opposed to the footer. As she explained, the front page of the Motif theme does not have a sidebar. However, other pages like this one do have a sidebar area:
