adding social media buttons

  Hi! I have read the page about adding social media buttons to your sidebar or footer (https://en.support.wordpress.com/add-social-media-buttons-to-your-sidebar-or-footer/) but I still don’t really know what I’m doing. I have the image I want for the buttons uploaded, but I don’t know what to do next… any help would be very much appreciated! Thank you!!

  The link that I sent above will walk you through setting up the social media widget on your site. You would need to add this social media widget to your side bar (instructions: https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/ )then you would enter your account information for the following:
  Facebook
  Twitter
  Instagram
  Pinterest
  LinkedIn
  GitHub
  YouTube
  Vimeo

  The social media widget, I think, would be easier for you to set up compared to adding a social media button for each of the above listed companies (which is the link that you provided in your initial post).
