Adding Social Network Buttons to Sorbet Theme

GAH. I’m using the Sorbet theme, which has a place in the header area with the following buttons: Menu, Widgets, Social Links, Search.

I already made changes under my widgets area to the layout under the ‘Widgets’ button, however, I can’t for the life of me figure out how to add my social network buttons under that ‘Social Links’ button. When clicked, it shows an area below with space for up to seven social link buttons. I can’t figure this out. It’s driving me nuts. Someone help me before I spit on my computer. lol

I can help! There are two steps you have to do.

First go to Appearance–} Menus. After you get here create a new menu and name it Social Networks (name doesn’t matter but naming it this will help you later). Once you do this clink the ‘links’ tab and enter the URL of the social network you wish to add and under ‘link text’ name it what it is (Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, Pintrest etc…).

Second go to Appearance –} customize. On the right you will see a tab that says “Menus,” click on it. Where it says “Social Links Menu” click the drop down and add the menu that reads “Social Networks” or whatever you named the menu before.

Let me know how this works and good luck.

Thanks…I posted earlier that I was able to figure it out by checking out the theme itself to see if it would tell me what to do. lol I’m not sure where my reply went? O.o
