Adding social sharing buttons

Hi,
I would like to know how to add social sharing buttons to single posts. I am trying to learn WordPress. Fiddling with few plugins helped me to place social sharing buttons on the home page. I want to add the social sharing feature to my blog posts, I tried a lot of plugins such as Social Warfare, WP SimpleShare, Social Share Button etc. But the social sharing buttons do not appear next to my posts when I click to read the entire article. One or two plugins were successful in showing sharing button on the home page. I figured out that I need to purchase the PRO version for some of the themes to get this feature.
I want the social sharing buttons to appear next to the author name or somewhere on top of the complete blog post article(the landing page when I click on the posts to read the full article). I do not want to change the theme. I didn’t like the buttons that are available with the PRO versions of the themes that I liked. How do I add social share buttons to the inside pages (full article pages) through coding?
