Adding SoundCloud drop box widget

I have searched for info on how to install the “Drop box” widget from SoundCloud, and also sent the question to Support. In both cases, the result is information on how to install the audio player. Not a very satisfactory response, and it leaves me wondering if the presence of the word “SoundCloud” doesn’t just trigger an automatic response.
The drop box widget will let a reader upload one of their own tracks to SoundCloud to be stored in MY personal drop box. This is a great facility to have for someone (like me) who is blogging about music. I would really like to have this widget installed on my sidebar with a comment inviting anyone to send me a favorite track, especially new or relatively unknown musicians.
You guys already know, and apparently like, the SoundCloud service. How about letting us use the Drop Box widget on dot-com sites?

Without seeing the code no one can know for sure, but to do what you describe would typically take some sort of scripting language such as javascript or PHP and neither of those is allowed here at wordpress.COM due to security concerns.

You know, all they are doing is piling a bunch of BS around a simple image link – BS that isn’t needed.
Use this code and substitute your username where it says “username” in the (without the quote marks).

That second sentence should read: “Use this code and substitute your username where it says “username” in the hyperlinks (without the quote marks).”

Well this absolutely ROCKS! Thank you Sacred, for an amazingly speedy and effective response. Not surprisingly, your code works, and my brand new widget now sits happily on the sidebar.
This is what I call terrific support. They are not paying you enough and you should get the #1 Primo parking spot.

You’re very welcome, and they don’t pay me anything since I’m a volunteer here in the forums. I keep thinking Matt might send me a wordpress coffee mug, or one of those wordpress hoodies, but everyday when I check the mail box, nothing.
