Adding students
-
I am setting up an academic blog for myself and my students. How do my students become a part of the blog? Where do they register? I want this to be a closed blog. This blog is a class assignment.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you make the blog private, you can invite them through the Dashboard > Users > Invite New. Plug in the email addresses and you’re hauling the mail. Literally.

Just a heads up, I believe you can only add 10 users at one time to .prevent spam. So you’ll need to add 10 then the next 10. The students will have to make WordPress.com accounts, and they’ll be directed to do so from the email sent by adding them as a user.

Yep, you’re right. There’s also a note below the form where you add them. :-)
Invite up to 10 email addresses and/or WordPress.com usernames, separated by commas. Those needing a username will be sent instructions on how to create one.
