adding subdomain to verify with mailchimp
-
I am trying to figure out the process and cost for adding a subdomain to a site which is hosted & registered with WordPress. I want to provide it to mailchimp in order to have an authenticated domain so emails won’t get blocked. I don’t want to authenticate our primary domain as I understand it may redirect to Mailchimp.

Hi there,
To map a subdomain to your WordPress.com site, please follow the instructions on our support page here:
https://wordpress.com/support/domains/map-subdomain/#mapping-a-subdomain-to-your-word-press-com-site
You will need a mapping subscription which is a part of a WordPress.com plan:
Once you have your domain purchased and set up, you can use the instructions over at MailChimp to authenticate the domain:
https://mailchimp.com/help/set-up-custom-domain-authentication-dkim-and-spf/
