Adding Subpages/Parent and Child Pages
-
Im trying to add subpages to my “blog post” page. So I added”blog posts” as a parent page to a “fashion” page “beauty” page and “lifestyle” page but neither the “blog post” page and those child pages are showing on my site. The only page showing is “Home”.
Please help me fix this.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
You need to use categories for this to work. You can group related posts with categories and then display them separately on a single page. Here’s the full guide on how to configure that:

Thank you, I did that, but I have “Blog Posts” as a Page however it’s still not showing up on my site as a page. The only page showing on the site is “Home”, also how do I now add this “Blog Post” category with their subcategories (“Fashion”, “Beauty” and “Lifestyle” to the actual “Blog Post” Page?

Hi there,
So, you created The Blog Posts page as a category page, not an actual post page. So, if this is how you want to set it up, you’ll need to add the Blog Post category menu via Appearance > Menus > Categories in order to see it in the navigation bar:
Your blog posts menu is showing as invalid because you have not assigned your blog post page as your post page under Settings > Reading.
That may be preferred way to go – once you assign your blog post page, you can add that as a menu item.
Hope that helps.

Thank you, those steps did work to add the page to my site, but when I hover over the blog post page it’s not showing the “Fashion” “Beauty” and “Lifestyle” child pages/subpages…

Hi there,
I can see those submenu items under your Blog Posts menu item:
Or are you speaking of something else?
