Adding tags to pages
-
I would like to add tags to pages but I am confused as I have heard this is possible with code but have also read that it’s not possible.
If it is possible, then how do I do it?
Thanks in advance. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That’s not possible. Tags and categories can only be assigned to Posts not to Pages. Pages are for static content that rarely changes.

These are all static Pages. They are not dynamic Category Pages.

Patterns & Textures
Qwerky

UKStatic Pages and dynamic Category Pages are not the same. The former cannot automatically update but the latter do.

This is an example of a static page URL.

This is an example of a category URL.Study it closely please and note that only dynamic category pages can automatically update.
http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/category/basic-blogging/By default the front page of the blog is the post that displays all posts in your blog. Though there is only one dynamic page in a blog for posts (not pages) http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/ and we cannot post to more than that one page, we can create the appearance that we have posted to more than one page.
We organize posts by assigning categories to them. You can create a custom menu and add the dynamic categories pages into the custom menu.

That was a super quick reply!
It will take me a while to digest all this information (and hopefully understand some of it).
At least I know I can’t tag pages now. Many thanks -
