Adding text to a a homepage

  Hi,
  I am trying to add text to my blog’s homepage but can’t seem to be able to do so using the current template. Do I need to change templates or is there a simple way to customize my homepage.

  WP.com: Unknown
  Jetpack: Yes
  Correct account: Yes

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
