Adding text to home page to be permenantly displayed next to image

    i’m a newbie that purchased Linen Premium theme for my blog. I liked the look (and guess, falsely assumed that I could create something like it).

    So far:
    I figured out how to insert blog title.
    I inserted an uploaded image, sized it and left justified it

    Problem: how do I enter text to the right of the image. Could I create a textbox to be filled with text? I’m familiar with Publisher and thought that creating a blog would be a similar process.

    Secondly, I’m not seeing the purpose of purchasing a premium blog because there seems to be no preset content that can be modified.

    Advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
