adding text to menu on cubic theme

    hi, I’m using the cubic theme that has a menu on the top left that opens up several options. The problem is there’s no text there so people miss it. The problem is I chose to show for my main page the recent posts instead of a default static page. Is there a way to show text on that menu or instead show my recent posts but also show different widgets on the left/right of the page?
