adding the 35 users allowed to access blog
-
I went to the Privacy Settings to add the 35 users who can see my blog, but not edit it. I typed in a name and hit “add user” and nothing happened.
Here is a picture:

Is there something else that I need to do to get this to work?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Try going to USERS and typing in a name and email there.
I have never seen the link above before so I’m not sure it will
work with what you are doing but it is worth a try. -
I can do that, but it would mean the users would be able to edit or write blog entries. I only want them to be able to read the blog.
I want it to be very easy for people like my mom to see the blog. If she an editor, Admin, ect, when she logs in she will be sent to the stats page. I’m not sure she will be able to navigate to the blog itself. Plus she might click on the wrong thing and delete or alter a page. It’s best if she can only see the blog.
I’m hoping that this is just a temporary glitch and the add user function will work tomorrow.

I figured it out! I have to go to users, like you said, and invite them first. Then wait for them to pick a name. Then I type that name into the block in the picture I posted before. Then it will work.
