Adding the Archive Plug in

  I am struggling to add the Archive Plug in. Some posts I have read say this is a standard plug-in but I cannot see it. I have downloaded the file archived-post-status.0.3.6.zip from what I believe is an official WordPress site but I cannot find any instructions on how to download it.

  I’d be grateful for any help

  WordPress.COM hosted sites have builtin plugins only. You are confusing theme with WordPress.ORG sites on paid hosting.

  Blogger installed plugin capability does not exist on WordPress.COM blogs and there is no upgrade you can purchase here that changes that reality.

  For that type of functionality, you’d need a self-hosted WordPress.ORG software install running on a paid web hosting service.

  Thanks for your speedy explanation, I am clearly a NOOB who shouldn’t be let loose on my groups WP blog, but there’s no-one else to do it but me!
