Adding the hit counter to a post or page and not as a widget?

  Hi! I have looked around for this, but could not find the answer. Is there a way to add the hit counter to a post or page and not only as a widget? I am looking for a way for it to show it on my about page.

  If you add the counter code to a post or a page, then it will only count the hits on that particular page or post. It has to be in a text widget in order to count all hits on the blog.

  No – you can’t (unless you use a 3rd party service).

  You need to use a third-party one, such as Sitemeter or Statcounter.
