Adding third column to blog

  I would like to know how I can add a 3rd column to my blog, and keep all the content and widgets in tact along with same header I have now.

  Unfortunately, that a bit beyond the customization that you can do at WordPress.com.

  Have you considered switching to a 3-column theme instead?

  I wouldn’t mind doing that. But can I transfer all my content over or do I have to start all over again?

  No transfer required. Everything stays where it is, just the look changes.
