Hi there,
If the folks at your fundraising site have any sort of button code which they can provide you with which will allow you to embed the code elsewhere, then we can certainly try and get it working within your WordPress.com site!
Unless they provide the external access however, the only thing I could suggest would be to have a link to your donation page at kintera.org.
Let me know which route you’d like to go and I’ll be happy to help!

Thanks for the response! I’m wondering … can I pull the code from the View Source view of the kintera.org page that I linked?
I can see the code I just don’t know
1) which code to pull
2) where to put it when I’ve pulled it.
Thanks -
Hi there,
Actually, I took a look at that, and the site is using Javascript for most of its functionality. Javascript has two parts in most cases: one on the website which you can see by using the View Source, and then another part which is the actual program which sits on the server and does the actual work.
Trying to reverse engineer the button and the progress bar may not be impossible but is not something which I would be able to assist with. If you can reach out to the folks at that site, they may be able to help you with it though!

Here is the link to my donation gadget.
Can you help me upload?

Hiya,
I had figured that your donation site would provide some sort HTML code which you could place on your blog.
The code which they’ve provided is not something which will work in our environment, I’m afraid. You can read about it right here:
The simplest of code will work (straight HTML code, etc), but the code listed in that page will not as it can effect others in our environment.

I know. And I apologize!
I wish I could help . . .
Let me know if you have any other questions.

How do I change the background of an image to be black, and the text to be white?

Hi there,
In order to change the images’ borders so that they are black and the captions are white, you will need to have the Custom Design package and will need to modify your site’s CSS. This add-on will also let you modify the appearance of your site in any number of other ways so that it is more yours.
For more information on the Custom Design add-on, you can click here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/And if you do decide to purchase the Custom Design add-on, you may need help with the CSS code to make the changes you want to your site! We’ve created a forum specifically for that, and you can look through it right here:
