Adding “Tweet This” on Twitter to a post

I have my blog hosted on WordPress and want to know if there is any type of solution to be able to add a “Tweet this” or any other type of bookmarking/sharing functionality to my posts. I did check out “Add It” but there was no way to have the blog url shortened before it opened it into twitter. As you may or may not know, twitter posts are limited to 140 characters and services like TinyURL will shorten this for you. I’m looking to integrate something simply since I really don’t understand code. This is the code I’ve been pasting in but it’s not shortening the URL when I select twitter.
