Adding TXT record for FWMS..org
-
I have added a TXT record for FWMS.org for Verification by Microsoft Office 365. A requirement to set up a domain there. The Microsoft page is not finding the TXT record I have added. It also required a ttl of 3600 but I did not see a ttl field when I created the record.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
I just wanted to check in with you to see you your records are working now. It can take up to 30-minutes for this type of addition (of a TXT record to your WordPress.com DNS) to appear at Microsoft.
Here is WordPress.com’s Microsoft 365 support document that steps you through the process of connecting/adding email/verification:
Could you test the issue again after 30 minutes, and taking a look at the support document? Then, please be in touch and let me know the results. If I need to troubleshoot further, I’m happy to do that.
Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks very much.

Still not finding the record
We didn’t find the TXT record for fwms.org. We can usually find it in about a minute, but sometimes it can take a couple of hours. Double-check the TXT record to make sure everything matches, then try again.
I did cut and paste the text

Hey there!
Could you please copy/paste the entire TXT record (and any other data) that you were given?
I’d like to review those settings for you! Thanks :)

Hi there!
I see one of the problems. You aren’t mapping your domain FWMS.org to your WordPress.com site. It’s being used for a self-hosted site currently.
If FWMS.org isn’t mapped to your WordPress.com site, then your records here won’t be of any use.
Could you explain how you want to use FWMS.org? Are you intending to host your site at WordPress.com? Or, were you wanting to use your third-party hosted site?
If you wanted to host your site here, you do need to finish the mapping process by changing your domain’s name servers to:
ns1.wordpress.com
ns2.wordpress.com
ns3.wordpress.comFor more information about domain mapping: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/#instructions-for-mapping-an-existing-domain
If you want to host your site outside of WordPress.com, then all your records should live on the website’s server.
Looking forward to receiving your clarification! Thanks.
