Adding USER issue

Hi guys,
I am having an issue with trying to add a user to my blog. They contribute reviews to my site and I followed the steps on wordpress.com in regards to adding a user but I am not having any luck. They have no blog of their own, they will be contributing to mine and I added them as a user, they received the e-mail, followed the steps and they signed into wordpress.com and created a screen name and gravatar but nowhere on their page does it show that they’ve been added to my site.
It says on your USER guide, to click on the MY BLOG section of their account but it doesn’t list MY BLOG anywhere on theirs. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Did they click on the email link before or after they had created a WordPress.com account? If they clicked before, have them log into their WordPress.com account and try going back to click on the link again.
