Adding users Prob

  there’s a problem in adding users. I did it like the videos said, both ways, but when the one who got the invitation is pressing the link to accept it redirect him to the “Get another WordPress.com blog in seconds”

  Is the new user obligated to sign up in order to create a new blog???

  i did it this way….. To add someone who does not have a WordPress.com account:

  1. Log in to your dashboard.
  2. Click on the Users -> Invites menu option.
  3. Enter the author’s first name, last name and email address in the appropriate fields.
  4. Check the box labeled Add user to my blog as a contributor.
  5. Click the Send Invite button.

  Your new contributor will receive an email inviting them to sign up for a WordPress.com account (and, optionally, create their own blog if they want). Once they have signed up, you’ll see them listed as a Contributor on your Users tab. You can change them to a different role (Author or Editor) later if you’d like.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I think this is happening because the user already has a WordPress.com account.

  No cause nobody from the 2 users i tried to add has a wordpress account.

  I don’t understand why you would think closing your site would help.

  Ask the 2 users you have invited if one of them has already signed up for a wordpress account. That is not the same as one of them having a wordpress blog.

  Anyone can have a wordpress account, but he or she may not have a wordpress blog.

  No the user is not required to get a blog. If he looks at that page carefully he can register a username only and not register a blog at all. However, if he already has a wordpress.com username then that’s why this issue keeps coming up.
