Adding VAT details to billing

    Hello,
    My client wishes to associate his (Portuguese) VAT number in order to purchase the Business pack, although he isn’t able to validate and save his VAT number on WordPress (Error message: Your VAT details are not valid. Please check each field and try again). From what I can tell he doesn’t have his VAT number listed on VIES (VAT Information Exchange System), so this might be this issue. Is there any workaround to this (processing first the payment of the Business pack and then asking for the receipt under the given VAT number) or does he have to explicitly add his VAT number to VIES?

    We currently only provide Value Added Tax (VAT) receipts to users who are properly listed in the VIES (VAT Information Exchange System) or the UK VAT database.
