  Thanks, Kathrynwp for your response. I followed the instructions but I got an error message: Your server responded with a status code of 404 (file not found). We tried to visit http://aditebanerjie.com/pinterest-70c37.html. What am I doing wrong?

  Would you let me know the exact URL you entered on your Pinterest profile info page? Could you copy-paste it here? It should not have www as part of the address.

  Would you mind providing a link to your Pinterest profile?

  Would you mind copy-pasting the entire meta tag you got from Pinterest so I can have a look? For example:

  <meta name="p:domain_verify" content="c695382f781c1c45b0f3363765fce3bf" />

  Please add code tags around it using the formatting buttons so it will display correctly. Thanks!

  Here’s what I pasted <meta name=”p:domain_verify” content=”70c37bb2641890d1a842c8804fc0b052″/>

  I tried doing it again and I’m still getting the same error message:
  “Your server responded with a status code of 404 (file not found). We tried to visit http://aditebanerjie.com/pinterest-70c37.html.”

  I’ve verified that the code you’ve entered into your dashboard is correct per what you’ve provided.

  According to Pinterest’s documentation, you just need to go here:

  https://help.pinterest.com/entries/22250923-Verify-your-blog#wordpress

  And follow the steps to complete the process. If you run in to troubles you may want to reach out to Pinterest to see what the issue is.
