Adding Video

  Hi

  I usually host video on other video sites and then cut and paste to add to a blog like this. My question is if I sign up of 10GB of space, can I put video directly on this site? Also is there a limit of transfer rate if I should begin to get a lot of hits?

  You can only put the prescribed video types on your blog, for security reasons. Right now, that means Google Video, Youtube, DailyMotion, Grouper, Odeo, and SplashCast.

  As I understand it, bandwidth is never an issue at WordPress.

  Thanks for the reply. What I need is to provide a video to another website and they told me it needed to come from my own domain name with the file i.e. http://www.myvideowebsite.com/storevideo.mov

  Anyone have any suggestions? I really don’t know much about web design, HTML etc. I used to use blogger and upload my video from bliptv and that worked fine.
