Adding video to home page on Publisher theme

    On the themes menu, I selected the Publisher theme as I liked the way you can play video on the posts in the home page – without clicking through to main post. I have just uploaded the first post and it appears you can only upload image ‘thumbnails’ to the home page or possibly videos you are uploading yourself (and not just linking to from YouTube). Can you help? It’s the only reason i paid the $$ for the theme.

    Hi there,

    It is not possible to use a video embed as a Featured Image on blog posts, unfortunately

    I noticed that theme demo in particular, the post with the video in it is not set using a featured image (which would appear above the title) as you can see here:

    Instead it looks to be showing the Vimeo embed that is in the post itself, as you can see here:
