Adding video to my Vodpod widget

    My name is Art, my blog is HealthyDiversity.com. How do i add video to my sidebar?

    I’v done this in the past, but I can’t recall how I did it. All of the instructions I have tried will add video as a post even from vodpod.com.

    You add the video to VodPod and then it shows up in your VodPod widget.

    Is that what you mean?

    Hi Vivian

    If you go to my site, HealthyDiversity.com you will notice that I have 3 videos in my side bar. I also have a video that was posted. I want to avoid having videos as a post. i want all of my videos to be placed in the sidebar.

    I uploaded my video to YouTube.com

    I selected the uploaded video into my vodpod.com account. From Vodpod.com I posted it to my blog. The video did not go into my vodpod widget. instead it was embedded as a post.

    I opened the vodpod widget in my wordpress blog but i didn’t see any place to paste the videos url to load into the widget.

    What am I not seeing?

    Ah – there are two tabs when you use the VodPod account. One tab is to post to your blog, the other tab is to add it to your video collection. Once it’s in your collection, it will show up in your sidebar widget.

    hi i would like to ask that how to let it autoplay?
    for example when you enter the blog , the video just auto play it.
    i have no idea to it.
    i must click on the video in order to let it play.

    xinni – do you have a wordpress.COM blog? If so, please provide a link to the blog. And consider linking it in your user name as explained in the sticky, 8 Things, at the top of the forum.
