Adding VIMEO video on my page

I have tried to get a Vimeo video to show up on my page and post. Here is what I do:
1. I open my post/page
2. I click in Add Video on Upload/Insert above the tool bar
3. I choose “From URL”
4. I type in by hand, as is suggested by many here in the forum, [vimeo http://vimeo.com/8047762%5D just like is says in the help section.
5. I click “Insert in to post”
6. I click “Publish”Nothing shoes up in edit mode and when I look in preview it doesn’t show up and not in the visit site mode either.
I have inserted videos from YOUTUBE and that works just fine.
What am I doing wrong?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The short code ( [vimeo http://vimeo.com/8047762%5D ) is not put into the “from URL” field in the “add video” window, it is pasted directly into the HTML tab in either the page or post editor.
To use the “add video” section you paste the URL only which is http://vimeo.com/8047762 . I’ve had issues using the “add video” thing in the past, so I always put the video shortcode directly into the HTML tab in the editor.
