Adding widget to "About Me" page

  I’m using Twenty Seven theme and on my “about me” page I am trying to add a widget but cant seem to figure out how, or if its even possible.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  The only widget area available on the Twenty Seventeen theme that may be displayed on a static page is the Footer widget area. You may add a widget to the widget area as described in the Adding and Configuring Widgets section of the Widgets support page.

  Correction:

  Twenty Seventeen has two footer widget areas that may display widgets on a static page, named “Footer 1” and “Footer 2.” The “Blog” widget area can’t display widgets on a static page.
