  Can I add any new widget to my blog?

  I’m afraid you’ll have to be a little more specific than that? What kind of widget?

  if there is any widget available on the internet and i want to add it to my blog.. is that possible?

  Actually.. my blog is based on quizzing and i want to add a leaderboard

  The short answer is no. There are code restrictions in place on WordPress.com because we are working in a shared environment. Here is a Support doc which explains what code is permitted and what is not. http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/

  If you have a code you want to check, put it between backticks (usually to the left of the number 1 on your keyboard) so we can have a look at it.

  Seriously, let us have a look at the code (between backticks). There are some clever workarounds that may get you what you need, so while the short answer is no, it may not be entirely impossible. But we need to see the code first. :)

  i dont have any code yet..

  this is what i did.. i made a quiz question and inserted a form which asks for the answer in the same post..

  what i wanted was based on whther the answer is correct or not the leaderboard shoul update on its own..

  but i dont think this seems to be possible

  i would rather make a table in the sidebar( using the HTML widget) and update the leaderboard manually
