Adding Wists Widget
-
Hi –
I’ve been trying to add the Wists widget to my blog all day with no success. I added a “text” widget to my sidebar and copy and pasted the following code.
<embed src=”http://www.wists.com/wizard/index.swf” FlashVars=”feed=http://www.wists.com/decorinspiration/?out=mrss&scrolling=v&speed=-1&border=10&spacingY=5&spacingX=0&thumbFrame=1&thumbFrameColor=000000&frameColor=#00000000&tipOver=on&tipFont=Trebuchet MS&tipSize=11&tipColor=#666666&bgColor=#ffffff&thumbBgColor=#ffffff&title=off&titleColor=#ffffff&titleSize=10&titleFont=Arial” quality=”high” bgcolor=”#ffffff” wmode=”transparent” width=”134″ height=”465″ name=”index” align=”middle” allowScriptAccess=”sameDomain” type=”application/x-shockwave-flash” pluginspage=”http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer” />
my wists | clone this</div>
The heading for the widget appears “Wish List for Milan’s Nursery” but the actually widget does not.
Any ideas why this is happening?
Thanks!

Because it includes flash. Flash, javascript, iframes and forms are not allowed, for security reasons.

ok…thanks. However, I’ve seen this application on other blogs that are “powered by wordpress”. Any thoughts on why it works on their blogs and not on mine?
