Adding Writing Portfolio Pieces

    Thank you. I’ve decided that it will be easier for me to just create a blog. Is that possible from what I currently have or do I need to ask you to reset it for me again?

    Gotcha. In this case I do think it would be easier to start with a different theme. The theme you are using now is described as a “minimalist theme, designed for single-page websites. Its single post and page layouts have no header, navigation menus, or widgets”

    Another way to think of it is “bare bones” (as most one page sites are) and does not lend itself well to blogging. You could manually add all the things you need to build it out into a blog, but it would be more work than it’s worth, and definitely not the best starting point.

    Instead, I’m curious do you happen to have any sites (does not have to be WordPress) that you are drawing inspiration from or trying to emulate? We could help you find a theme here that would be a good starting point based off of that.

    You can also find a theme that catches you fancy from our list here. When you activate a new theme you are usually given the option to start with demo content but in some cases we can add it after the fact. If you are in need of that please let us know.
