Adding WWW. To My Site
-
Hi!
The site that I run is richiedrants.com and I would like to the www. to it. I know it doesn’t change anything, but it’s still a change I would like to make.
All of the answers that I see suggest that I go to Setting > General and there will be two fields that I can edit my URL in, but when I do I don’t see the fields at all. Am I just missing something, or what?
Help is greatly appreciated because this is starting to frustrate me!

Hi Rich,
We strip out “www” on all domains hosted on WordPress.com and don’t have the option to add it back. The suggestions on how to add it, most likely, are referring to the self-hosted WordPress.org software that you can have on your own server.
You can give your website address out at http://www.richiedrants.com and it’ll work without a problem as we direct all “www” traffic to the right place.
Thanks for using WordPress.com! Please let me know if you have any other questions.
