Adding/Customising sidebars

  I have recently upgraded my WordPress to include customising CSS. I can add new wigdets to the sidebars, that’s not an issue, however how do I add a new widget where I can customise headers/text? I can’t quite work out how to do my own versions. I’ve even tried to use the ‘text’ widget but the word ‘text’ remains as a header whihc isn’t what I want. I am missing a really obvious trick, any help is most welcome.

  We don’t allow users to add their own widgets for security reasons. You are limited to the widgets available from Design->Widgets. You should be able to edit the header of your text widget by clicking the edit link for the text widget and changing the text in the first box. The second box allows you put in the contents of the text widget.
