  So. If I want to start a second, unrelated blog, is it possible to have a separate name/avatar for each blog?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi waterhigh,

  It sure is! However, to do this, you will need to create a new free WordPress.com account for the new username/Gravatar that you want to use.

  Log out of WordPress.com and then go to the home page at http://wordpress.com and sign up for a new account, and you’ll be all set!
