    hello support,

I need support with two things.

I am writing a blog post. However, upon checking the preview some additional content is showing on that page. I have no idea where that came from. It’s not even mine. Attached is the screenshot. Could you help resolve the same?

2nd thing I need help with – I am starting a new domain and do not want to add content from my previous blog posts. However, my old blog posts automatically show up on the Pages I’m trying to create for the new domain. How do I remove that?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey, I am here to help you.

For the first issue, please highlight the extra content that doesn’t belong to you in the screenshot you provided. This will help me assist you more accurately.

Regarding the second issue, I see that your website was initially created in 2019. You’ve recently purchased the Premium plan and a custom domain, vesseloflife.com, and switched the theme. Currently, your website doesn’t have any active links, but I noticed two older blog posts from 2019 and 2020: A short trip to the Golden City and Mesmerising Experience – Lake Natron, Tanzania. If you don’t want these posts, you can easily unpublish or delete them.

If you’re looking to start fresh, you can reset your website by following this guide: https://wordpress.com/support/reset-your-site/.

To help you get started with your new setup, here’s a useful guide: https://wordpress.com/support/getting-started-with-wordpress-com/

Please share more details regarding the first issue so we can provide further assistance.

    Hi,

Thanks for your reply. The entire screenshot I had shared earlier is the extra content.

I have no idea why is that reflecting on my page.

    Hey,

Thank you for the clarification. The block you’re referring to is part of a template. If you’d like to remove it, follow these steps:

    1. Go to Appearance → Editor → Templates → CoachAva.
    2. Open the page template where you want to remove the block.
    3. In the template editor, locate the block you want to remove.
    4. Select the block, click the three dots (⋮), and choose “Remove”.

If the block appears in other templates, such as the 404 page, you’ll also need to remove it from those templates.

Let me know if you need any further clarification!
