additional templates for those not hosting

  When I google I find a plethora of wordpress templates, but they are only for those who host themselves. For us using wordpress.com to host, is there anyway to get additional templates outside of those base ones within the dashboard?

  not really, you could buy the CSS upgrade and design your own blog, you can check this site out http://demo.sndbx.org/
