Addon for Capturing?

    I am thinking of building a website using WordPress & Addons

    1. Is there an addon to capture a person’s name & email address (voluntarily)?
    2. Is there a way to add ecommerce to such a site?
    3. Is there a way to keep out pages until a person submits their name & email address (sign up)?

    From the above, you don’t want wordpress.COM. You will have to buy a domain name, hire a web host, install and configure the software from wordpress.ORG and then research to find plugins that will do what you want. My research into membership type plugins has revealed a lot of them out there that simply do not work, or are so complex as to be unusable.
